Board of Directors Announce Two New Members
The Board of Directors of Page Healthcare, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of two new members, Arie van Duijn and Jo Stecher. Dr. van Duijn is an Assistant Professor of the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Florida Gulf Coast University and is a certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. His current area of practice and teaching includes orthopedic physical therapy with a special interest in manual therapy of the spine and the extremities and Evidence Based Practice. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Florida Physical Therapy Association, and he continues to have an active leadership role within the American Physical Therapy Association.
Dr. Stecher is an Assistant Professor in the undergraduate program at Florida Gulf Coast University, focusing on gerontology, end of life issues, advanced medical surgical topics, and coordinating the senior placement practicum course. She has been a nurse for over thirty years and specialized in the transplant field. Currently, Dr. Stecher is involved in research focusing on the spousal caregivers of early-onset Alzheimer’s patients. She is a member of the faculty senate at the university and is a member of the financial committee of the Alvin A. Dubin Alzheimer’s Resource Center.
Page Healthcare, Inc. oversees the daily operations of Page Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, a rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility, and All About Home Care, a home health agency. The experience that Dr. van Duijn and Dr. Stecher possess in the areas of physical therapy and nursing will be a welcome addition to the organization as it continues its goal to provide quality and progressive care to the residents and patients served.
